Nominations Sought for Ornithology’s Katma Award

The American Ornithological Society is currently seeking nominations for their annual Katma Award, which recognizes publications that propose ideas or test theories that challenge current ornithological dogma and could change the course of thinking about the biology of birds. Eligibility is open to all ornithologists (not only AOS members and/or papers published in AOS journals). Nominations are due December 14, and the winner will be announced at AOS's annual meeting next June; the award includes a $2500 prize.
