Columbia University's Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of a Research Staff Assistant. The position is in a systems neuroscience lab that focuses on the mechanisms of memory in food-caching birds (black-capped chickadees and tufted titmice). Major responsibilities include maintaining a colony of birds at the institute, as well as field work at forest research stations to collect and transport the birds. Individuals with field work experience and passion for both the lab and the outdoors are encouraged to apply.
