Clark University Teaching and Research Postdoc

Clark University’s Department of Biology invites applications for a one-year, full-time appointment to commence in the fall semester of 2019.  The successful candidate will have the potential for excellence in teaching and have a strong and ongoing research program.
 
The Fellow will have the opportunity to contribute to initiatives in our introductory and interdisciplinary curriculum, including teaching two sections (of approx. 16 students) in our Introductory Biology Lab in the fall and spring semesters and an additional course in the spring semester (an upper level elective).  The successful candidate will also conduct research involving undergraduates in collaboration with an existing Biology faculty member, including in summer 2020.  Candidates from all areas of biology are encouraged to apply.
 
A Ph.D. is desired, but we will consider those nearing completion of the degree. Previous teaching experience is preferred.
