To maintain the important networking functions of the meeting, there will also be virtual mentoring lunches, happy hours, subcommittee meetings, and group discussion rooms for participant-identified topics. Additional details for these events will be posted here once details become available.
Participants will be connected with faculty in a small group of peers during the conference dates. Sign-up will be available in the conference registration page through Friday, July 3. Please contact Graduate Student Representative, Patrick Green, [email protected] with any questions.
This year's online Charles H. Turner Program will engage students in professional development activities, cohort building, and identity tasks that will celebrate the uniqueness of "Being a Turner.” Selectees will work one-on-one with mentors and facilitators, in cohorts of their peers, and in individual reflection to understand how graduate education and membership in the Animal Behavior Society may become part of their professional trajectory. The application submission guidelines are available here, and the application deadline is June 22, 2020. Please contact the ABS Diversity Committee at: [email protected], with any questions.
