The 61st Animal Behavior Society Meeting was held in London, Ontario, Canada, with a total of 614 Attendees representing 27 countries including: Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Costa Rica, Finland, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Korea, Sweden, Thailand, United States, United Kingdom, and Uruguay. The conference hosted a stellar scientific program, with 74 invited talks and 262 contributed talks across 33 concurrent sessions. In addition to talks, the conference hosted 140 posters across 2 poster sessions. The conference also facilitated productive social gatherings, including a well-attended LGBTQ+ social, various lunch and dinner meetings for different standing committees, the closing banquet, an outreach fair at London’s Children Museum, and the popular Live episode of the Animal Behavior Podcast! In addition to the in-person meeting, ABS also hosted the conference virtually which attracted an additional 71 registrants. Baltimore Inner Harbor, in Baltimore Maryland, with local hosts from University of
Maryland, Baltimore County! Baltimore, also known as the “Charm City”, has dining,
parks, historic venues, the National Aquarium, and entertainment close to the
conference hotel. In addition, conference activities will take place in the conference
hotel to facilitate ease of movement between rooms and conference activities. The
Baltimore airport, BWI has international and national service, with direct flights from a
number of countries as well as US states, and Baltimore Penn station also has train

The 2025 ABS Annual Meeting will take place on July 8-12, 2025 (workshops on
opening day, July 8), at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor, Baltimore, Maryland,
USA.
All non-USA citizens will need a valid passport (and in some cases, a travel visa) to
travel to the USA. Additional information for visas will be available soon.
