We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic postdoctoral scholar to work on a project focused on understanding the seasonal phenology, vibrational communication and response to thermal stress in the New England vineyard pest Empoasca fabae (potato leaf hopper).
Qualified candidates should have completed a Ph.D. in entomology, animal behavior, bioacoustics, or a related discipline, and be broadly interested in insect communication, behavioral ecology, and agroacoustics. Candidates with research experience in insect ecology and taxonomy, animal behavior, bioacoustics, signal processing and field ecology are preferred. Competitive salary and benefits, along with research funding associated with the project are provided. The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand the research beyond the scope of the funded project to include related topics aligned with their interests.

If interested in applying and/or learning more about the position, please send an introduction email including a statement of research interests and a CV to Dr. Daniel R.
