The Lichtenberg Lab (https://biology.unt.edu/lichtenberg-lab) combines animal behavior and community ecolog to study pollinator foraging, social learning, plant-animal interactions and insect biodiversity. We are particularly interested in how land use change and land management practices affect these phenomena. The lab’s study systems include local grasslands, agricultural fields, and lab-based experiments. MS & PhD trainees will be funded through TAships and summer RAships. I will work with postoc candidates to apply for fellowships or grants, and help people apply for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. The lab is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment to trainees from diverse backgrounds.

Application: Please contact Dr. Elinor Lichtenberg ([email protected]) before applying. Send your CV, information on relevant experiences, and the kinds of questions you are interested in. Prospective postdocs should also send professional goals and funding ideas. Dr. Lichtenberg participates in UNT’s Biology (https://biology.unt.edu/graduate-programs/graduate-degrees-biology) and Environmental Science (https://biology.unt.edu/graduate-programs/graduate-degrees-environmental-science) graduate programs.
