Biostatistics – Clinical Assistant Professor
The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of North Texas (UNT), a Hispanic-Serving Institution and Carnegie Research Tier 1 institution, invites applications for a faculty position at the Clinical Assistant Professor level in Biostatistics. We are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment to colleagues from diverse backgrounds. The successful candidate will teach a two-course graduate-level applied Biostatistics sequence and other courses within the applicant’s area of expertise, and contribute to research and service including consulting with graduate students and faculty on their research-related statistical needs.  Areas of expertise of particular interest for teaching and research include, but are not limited to: experimental design and power analysis; data management and integration of different types of data; R programming; environmental, genomic and other ‘big data’ systems; complex, unbalanced or sparse datasets; understanding and interpreting variation; systems modeling; repeated measures and longitudinal designs; Bayesian statistics.
