Lecturer Majors Biology

The Department of Biology at Texas State University (www.bio.txstate.edu) invites applications for a Lecturer position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach freshmen classes in Biology such as Organismal Biology for majors and non-majors. Applicants will also be expected to work with teams supported by Learning Assistants (LAs) in LA supported courses. Required qualifications are an earned Ph.D. in the biological sciences or related field. Preference will be given to applicants with coursework and a research background focused on Biology, experience lecturing at the university level, including large enrollment classes.
