Campus Accommodations (SOLD OUT)
Delegates will stay in furnished, well-maintained townhouses and suites. All residences are less than a five-minute walk from the academic buildings and are located in the most scenic spots on campus.
The conference rate is $62.50 CAD plus 13% HST per person per night, single occupancy and includes a Continental breakfast and complimentary parking.
Type of Rooms
Our 4-person townhouse consists of 4 individual (single) bedrooms on the upper floor, each furnished with a twin bed, closet, chest of drawers, desk and chair. There is also a bathroom on the upper floor. On the main floor, there is a living room, kitchen (with kitchen-ware included) and dining area.
Our 6-bedroom townhouse consists of 5 or 6 bedrooms, with single or double occupancy. Each room is furnished with a twin bed, closet, chest of drawers, desk and chair. (There is two of each in the shared rooms.) These townhouses also include 2 washrooms and a shower room. There is a living room, kitchen (with kitchen-ware included) and dining area on the main floor.
All delegate rooms receive daily maid service. Dishes, cutlery, pots, etc. are included, and there is a grocery store within walking distance. Parking in designated lots is included FREE with accommodation. Accessible accommodations are available.
Delegates staying on campus have a Continental breakfast included in their room rate. This will be served in the Market Place cafeteria from 7:00 am to 8:00 am daily during the length of the conference.
Reservations will be made through the University of Toronto Scarborough. Note, you will need to sign up for an account with the University, and bookings will be in Canadian funds.
Off-Campus Accommodations
A special conference rate is available at the Delta Toronto East hotel in Scarborough (9.5 km from UTSC). There are limited number of rooms, so please book in advance.

Travel options to campus from the Delta East:
Conference Shuttle: A shuttle bus will be available from the Delta Hotel to UTSC (in the morning) and back (in the evening) during the conference dates. The pass is $40 and can be purchased at the time of registration online, on-site at registartion, or at the Hotel. The bus will run during the following days and times only:
Monday, June 12: 7:30am-9:45am 6:15pm-7:30pm
Tuesday, June 13- Friday, June 16: 7:30am-9:45pm, 8:00pm-9:15pm
Uber:The cost for a one way trip from the University to Delta Toronto East is approximately $16/CAD.
Beck Taxi:The cost for a one way trip from the University to Delta Toronto East is approximately $30/CAD.
Toronto Transit (TTC): The cost for a cash fare is $3.25/adult. The route from the University to Delta Toronto East takes about 40-45 minutes and there is a pick up closeby. Go to the TTC webite to plan your trip.
Note: There are no hotels or motels within walking distance of the University. Please see the map below for alternative options in the area. You will have to contact each option indiviually for rates, reservations and transportation services that they might offer guests.
Please note, those with a vehicle (not staying on campus) will need a daily parking pass to park at the University. Passes can be pre-purchased at the time of registration. $6 USD per daily pass, unitil June 1. Those who did not pre-purchase can use the pay-and-display stations available in the parking lots.
