ABS 2023 is being hosted at the Oregon Convention Center which located in Lloyd District. It's in a historic neighborhood well known for its live music and restaurants. If you're looking for things to see and do in the area, you might want to stop in and see Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Since ABS 2023 is not being hosted at a university, we are unable to offer university housing options this year. However, ABS is launching the #ABS2023Roommates hashtag in order to help attendees find a roommate...see below.

Online searches (such as this one) will provide a large list of hotels near the convention center at a variety of distances from the center and price points.

ABS attendees in need of a roommate may use the #ABS2023Roommates hashtag on twitter. Please note the following:

  • Please only use the the #ABS2023Roommates hashtag in your roommate search tweets...do not use the general #ABS2023 hashtag.
  • We do not recommend including personal details when sending tweets as you never know who is responding.
  • Do your research! Use internet searches, department webpage reviews, etc. and follow-up directly with any potential roommates to ensure that they are who they say they are.
  • Please note that using the #ABS2023Roommates hashtag is at your own risk...ABS isn't responsible for pairing up roommates.
  • Once you have found a roommate, please either delete or reply to your tweet so that everyone knows that you have found a roommate.
