The Plant-Animal Interactions Lab (Dr. Elinor Lichtenberg) at the University of North Texas (https://biology.unt.edu/lichtenberg-lab) is hiring a full-time lab manager. The Lichtenberg Lab combines approaches from community and behavioral ecology to study pollinator biodiversity and responses to anthropogenic disturbance, foraging behavior, and social learning. The successful candidate will participate in lab and field research, and oversee routine lab activities. Preferred qualifications include ability to follow established protocols, attention to detail, patience, willingness to work alone and in groups, and experience in biological field research (sampling organisms and their environment in the field) or animal behavior research. There will be opportunities to co-author publications. The start date is anticipated to be summer or fall of 2021. The position is for one year with the possibility of extension.
